The property is carved into the cliffs perched above Ammoudi Bay, where a stone mine once stood. Hence the name of another of my personal favourite hotels in Santorini.
Cycladic minimalist style with pops of warm tones characterise this hotel, and every suite comes with its own private pool or jacuzzi.
I can testify that service is flawless, as is the food – don’t miss a meal at the incredible Ālme fish restaurant. The sunsets here are unparalleled too.

3. Santorini Sky

This sky-high hotel in Santorini is perched 2,000 feet above the Aegean Sea.

On Santorini’s northeastern coast is Magma Resort, a Hyatt property with 59 rooms and suites.
With more affordable room rates than some luxury hotels in Santorini, you can enjoy real luxury here without breaking the bank.
Magma Resort’s larger rooms and suites all come with ocean views, and some feature a private pool or hot tub.
The standard of service here is superb, and amenities at this Unbound Collection resort include a range of pools, restaurants and bars, plus a spa and a gym.
It’s contemporary in style, with natural shades and clean lines throughout.
