1. Dormy House Hotel, Broadway
Dormy House Hotel is a true gem near the lovely Cotswolds town of Broadway. It’s one of my favourite hotels in the Cotswolds.
The highlight for me? The beautiful indoor pool! It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a long day.
Their spa facilities are also equally impressive, offering a range of treatments that left me feeling rejuvenated.
I also like that you have to book a spa slot, as it means that the pool area is never too busy and maintains a totally tranquil atmosphere.
2. Lucknam Park Hotel, Chippenham
Lucknam Park Hotel is nothing short of spectacular! This grand Georgian mansion is set amidst 500 acres of parkland.
The indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy pool is simply divine. The spa area is surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens that invite you to relax and soak up the sun.
There’s also an equestrian centre on-site, which offers riding experiences for guests – definitely something I’d recommend for horse lovers!
3. Whatley Manor, Malmesbury
Whatley Manor features a luxurious indoor pool that will become your sanctuary during your stay. The calm atmosphere made it easy to forget about the outside world.
What sets Whatley Manor apart is its commitment to wellness; I’d really recommend booking an indulgent spa treatment for the ultimate way to pamper yourself.
Plus, if you’re a foodie like me, make sure you dine at The Dining Room at Whatley Manor for exquisite Michelin-starred dining.
4. The Greenway Hotel & Spa, Cheltenham
The Greenway Hotel & Spa is a slice of paradise outside Cheltenham, and I can’t recommend it enough!
Set in a stunning 16th-century manor house, the hotel is surrounded by eight acres of landscaped gardens. The indoor pool is a standout feature, as are the spa facilities.
5. Thyme, Lechlade
Thyme is more than a hotel; it’s an experience! It’s a restored farmhouse in the quaint village of Southrop with a focus on slowing down and reconnecting with nature.
As part of the Meadow Spa, there’s a serene outdoor swimming pool that’s encapsulated by Cotswold stone and is a wonderful little sun trap.
I also love the rooms here, as each is uniquely decorated with a mix of contemporary and vintage furnishings for heaps of character.
The food is a treat too, with many of the ingredients being sourced from their kitchen garden.
6. Cowley Manor Experimental, Cheltenham
Cowley Manor Experimental is a stylish hotel with an impressive spa that features both an indoor and outdoor pool.
The spa facilities are fantastic, with a sauna for those looking to detoxify, and plenty of indulgent treatments available.
Plus, make sure you spend some time in their beautiful gardens, which are perfect for soaking up the sun.
7. The Lygon Arms, Broadway
The Lygon Arms is steeped in history and charm. This iconic hotel is located in the heart of Broadway and features an inviting indoor pool.
As you stroll down the halls of the hotel, you’ll feel the rich heritage engraved in the stunning architecture.
The hotel also offers a range of dining options, from casual bites to fine dining experiences – all of which celebrate Cotswold cuisine. Their afternoon tea is a must-try!

Burleigh Court is a boutique country house hotel that oozes Cotswolds charm. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
My favourite part of this hotel is the Burleigh Wellness Garden, where you’ll find a jacuzzi with massage jets, a sauna and a historic plunge pool.
It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind amidst an incredibly tranquil environment.
