Padstow is one of my favourite Cornish towns and one of the main reasons is because of its seriously impressive foodie credentials. Luckily, that includes a great breakfast!
I can’t think of a better way to spend a morning on the Cornish coast than at one of the best breakfast places in Padstow.
Whether you’re after a full English breakfast or a classic Cornish pasty, there are a handful of truly wonderful cafés and breakfast spots to try.
Some even have gorgeous views of the harbour for a really special way to start the day.
So let’s get into my top pick of the best breakfast places in Padstow.
1. Cherry Trees Coffee House
Address: West Quay, Padstow PL28 8AQ

Cosy and welcoming, I think the Cherry Trees Coffee House is a wonderful choice for breakfast.

Cherry Trees Coffee House also has a delectable selection of homemade cakes and pastries if you’re in the mood for something sweet – and I’d recommend that you do give them a go!
If you don’t have room for a big old Cornish breakfast, you can also pick up a lighter option like muesli or a toastie.
As you’d expect, all dishes are made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and believe me when I say that the coffee is top-notch.
I love the décor which is simple and rustic, with wooden tables and chairs and plenty of natural light.
It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before exploring the town.

I really don’t think you can go wrong with the cheesy burrito or a cheese and tomato toastie to start the day off on a good note. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!
