Best for: Mesmerising view

The Palazzo Stern Hotel is an ideal way to experience Venice in all its glory. Other than visiting the various monuments around Venice, you’ll rarely need to leave the hotel.

That’s because Palazzo Stern is located right on the Great Canal. The hotel restaurant overlooks the gorgeous water, making for unparalleled romantic evenings.

If you want to get a closer look at the canal, ask your private concierge about the vintage boat rides. Then, I can’t recommend the rooftop jacuzzi enough for a perfect end to a perfect night.

Nothing is more luxurious than the Palazzos doubling as sublime boutique hotels in Venice. Unlike large resorts, the boutique hotels have an advantage, as they often directly overlook the amazing canal.

This doesn’t mean you’ll be staying in the middle of the crowded city, though. Instead, most of these hotels are near touristy attractions, while still being secluded enough to maintain your privacy.

The smaller hotels also mean a personalised experience, not to mention the incredible food offered at all the establishments. Nobody does hospitality quite like the Italians!
