1. Ca Maria Adele

Address: Sestiere Dorsoduro, 111, 30123 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: Sublime location

Ca Maria Adele Terrace

If you’re looking for a top-notch hotel that has all the essentials and none of the fuss, Ca Maria Adele is the answer.

The hotel’s sublime location is just one vaporetto stop from Piazza San Marco. Yet, it’s still secluded and private enough for a romantic getaway.

I always recommend this hotel for special celebrations and anniversaries.

All you need to do is book and bring your luggage, and Ca Maria Adele will take it from there.

The friendly service can help you with transportation, planning your itinerary, and even planning a celebration.

2. Palazzo Venart

Address: Calle Tron, 1961, 30135 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: Luxury accommodation

Palazzo Venart Luxury Room

When it comes to intricate details and luxury accommodation, Palazzo Venart is one of the best choices you can make.

You’ll feel like royalty when staying at this palazzo. There are only 17 rooms and suites, so the privacy and sense of exclusivity are pretty unbeatable.

Additionally, the hotel is accessible by waterfront taxis and buses. In fact, you’ll probably never have to deal with transportation, as the staff will arrange it for you.

The exceptional breakfast and dinner, paired with the canal view, is simply to die for.

3. Hotel Moresco

Address: Fondamenta del Passamonte, 3499, 30123 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: Comfortable and cosy experience

Hotel Moresco will make you feel right at home – if your home is a five-minute walk to the Leonardo Da Vinci Exhibition!

The rooms and amenities offer a splendid blend of comfort and cleanliness. The hardest part will probably be choosing between a view of the Rio Novo Canal or the gorgeous hotel garden.

As if the hotel wasn’t perfect enough, there’s a complimentary breakfast and a happy hour.

Since Hotel Moresco is overlooking one of the most serene areas of the Venetian canal, I have no doubt that you won’t want to leave!

4. Palazzina Grassi

Address: Ramo Grassi, 3247, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: Impeccable design

As the only five star hotel in Italy designed by Philippe Starck, you can expect impeccable design and truly beautiful rooms at Palazzina Grassi.

This luxurious hotel looks like it has been lifted straight from a Hollywood movie.

I also consider this one of the best boutique hotels in Venice thanks to their impeccable concierge service.

They can arrange all kinds of memorable experiences for you, from dinner reservations to tours and cooking experiences.

So, if it’s your first time in Venice, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind knowing you’re in good hands.

Plus, don’t miss the chance to eat at their fine dining restaurant, where you’ll find a ‘show kitchen’ that allows diners to interact with the chef.

5. Il Palazzo Experimental

Address: Fondamenta Zattere Al Ponte Lungo, 1411, 30123 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: Stylish design

Il Palazzo Experimental Suite

There’s plenty of gorgeous, intricate, architecture in Venice. Yet, I’ll bet that Il Palazzo Experimental is unlike any other boutique hotel you’ve stayed at.

The Japandi interior of the hotel is incredibly relaxing, with a twist of eclectic Italian decor. Simply staying in your room will be worth the trip to Italy.

Still, there are numerous areas of the hotel to enjoy, so you won’t have to go far for an enchanting evening.

Make sure you pay a visit to the Ristorante Adriatica for mouthwatering cuisine. You also shouldn’t miss a tasty drink at the exclusive Experimental Cocktail Club.

6. Nolinski Venezia

Address: Calle Larga XXII Marzo, 2032, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: Art lovers

Nolinski Venezia bedroom

Nolinksi Venezia is a modern wonder in the middle of historic Venice.

The gorgeous art on every wall, the attention to detail, and the unique design of each of the 43 rooms make it feel like you’re staying in a gallery rather than a hotel.

If you want to freely explore Venice, the prime location of Nolinski is one I’d recommend. Then, after a day of walking, you can relax and refresh at the Nolinski Ottoman-inspired spa.

The Mediterranean hotel also provides a sublime dining experience, blending Italian and French cuisine.

7. Aman Venice

Address: Calle Tiepolo, 1364, 30125 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: History enthusiasts

What better way to visit Venice than staying at the historic Palazzo Papadopoli? Or maybe finding accommodation in one of the best hotel groups in the world?

Well, you’ll find the best of both worlds by staying at Aman Venice!

The Aman Hotel group is dedicated to historical and cultural preservation. So, your stay will be sponsored by authentic history, as well as top-notch designers.

This boutique hotel has everything you could need and wish for during your Venetian holiday, including tasty dinners, exceptional service, and relaxing spa treatments.

8. Hotel Bucintoro

Address: Riva S. Biasio, 2135/A, 30122 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: Luxury travel on a budget

Hotel Bucintoro

Hotel Bucintoro is located near the historic city centre of Venice; it offers a very pleasant service, and is at a fraction of the price of other luxury boutique hotels in Venice.

I love the aesthetics of this hotel; the hotel’s design is reminiscent of old Venetian ships, which is pretty romantic.

All rooms at the Hotel Bucintoro enjoy incredible views of the lagoon.

9. Ca’ Pisani Hotel

Address: Rio Terrà Foscarini, 979A, 30123 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: An art deco gem

Ca’ Pisani Hotel

If you dream about living in 14th-century Italy, Ca’ Pisani Hotel might help your dreams come true.

The 14th-century palazzo adorned by original furnishing from the 30s will transport you into an entirely different era.

My favourite part about staying at Ca’ Pisani Hotel is the complete privacy.

While the boutique residence is near plenty of tourist attractions, you’ll still enjoy a serene stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

10. Hotel Palazzo Stern

Address: Sestiere Dorsoduro, 2792/A, 30123 Venezia VE, Italy

Best for: Mesmerising view

Hotel Palazzo Stern

The Palazzo Stern Hotel is an ideal way to experience Venice in all its glory. Other than visiting the various monuments around Venice, you’ll rarely need to leave the hotel.

That’s because Palazzo Stern is located right on the Great Canal. The hotel restaurant overlooks the gorgeous water, making for unparalleled romantic evenings.

If you want to get a closer look at the canal, ask your private concierge about the vintage boat rides. Then, I can’t recommend the rooftop jacuzzi enough for a perfect end to a perfect night.

Nothing is more luxurious than the Palazzos doubling as sublime boutique hotels in Venice. Unlike large resorts, the boutique hotels have an advantage, as they often directly overlook the amazing canal.

This doesn’t mean you’ll be staying in the middle of the crowded city, though. Instead, most of these hotels are near touristy attractions, while still being secluded enough to maintain your privacy.

The smaller hotels also mean a personalised experience, not to mention the incredible food offered at all the establishments. Nobody does hospitality quite like the Italians!
