I’ve curated this hand picked list of the best boutique hotels in Rhodes based on my own experiences of visiting the island, plus some recommendations from fellow Greece aficionados.
Each of these Rhodes boutique hotels has something truly special to offer. From a peaceful courtyard in the mediaeval old town to spacious suites, a sumptuous spa, sweeping sea views, or a rooftop pool.

1. Allegory Boutique Hotel
Address: Antifanous 11 & Ippodamou, Rhodes Town
Best for: An old town location
If you’d like to stay in the atmospheric heart of Rhodes Old Town, try Allegory Boutique Hotel.
It combines a mediaeval location with a Mediterranean feel, and is tucked away behind a golden stone wall with an arched doorway.
Accommodation is all in suites, and these feature characterful touches like beamed ceilings offset by fresh, bright linens, glossy flooring, and neutral walls.
A highlight of this Historic Hotels of Europe award winner is dining in the outdoor courtyard, where breakfast is served each morning.
2. Trinity Boutique Hotel
Address: Perikleous 35 – 37, Rhodes Town, 85100
Best for: A local vibe
The staff at Trinity Boutique Hotel in Rhodes Town go over and above to ensure every guest has a special stay at this character-packed property.
Inside and out, ancient stone walls add charm, and there are ceiling beams and arched windows in the bedrooms.
Like Allegory Boutique Hotel, the walled courtyard here is a wonderful feature.
The old town location is convenient for exploring historic delights like the Street of Knights.
Elli beach is under a mile away, while you can find local cafes and restaurants within a couple of hundred yards.
3. Sperveri Boutique Hotel
Address: Dilmperaki 65 – 67, Rhodes Town, 85100
Best for: A town pool
An outdoor pool in a most magical setting is a real perk of this four star Rhodes boutique hotel.
Akti Kanari beach is also close by, should you hanker after sand and sea, as well as local culture and history.
Room decor at Sperveri is perfectly judged when it comes to balancing the classic with the contemporary, with large windows letting in lots of natural light.
You also couldn’t be better placed for a choice of local dining options, with several eateries within 100 yards.
4. Rodos Niohori Elite Suites
Address: 47 – 49 Dilberaki Street, Rhodes Town, 85100
Best for: Indoor and outdoor space
Rodos Niohori Elite Suites Boutique Hotel is a cut above other properties when it comes to indoor and outdoor space.
The two-storey suites here come with private terraces, and a sofa bed in each provides extra lounging or sleeping space, as required.
Decor here comes with a touch of Italian flair for a Mediterranean feel, and as with Sperveri Boutique Hotel, Akti Kanari beach and local restaurants can be found close by.
With only four suites, this 1896 home is a lovely place to call home for as long as you care to linger in Rhodes.
5. Zacosta Villa Hotel
Address: 23 Xenofontos Street, Old Town, Rhodes Town
Best for: Locally made goods
A combination of local goods and top-notch names come together at Zacosta Villa Hotel, creating quality accommodation with a welcoming vibe.
Fruits are grown in the kitchen garden, while preserves come from the local women’s co-op.
Beds are made locally, while Model One radios and Korres toiletries give a deluxe finish to bedrooms and bathrooms.
Local hostelries within wandering distance give you somewhere different to go before or after spending time at the on-site bar, and the iconic Clock Tower is only 100 yards away.
Breakfast, featuring various Greek specialities, is also served in the charming courtyard daily.
6. Lindos Aqua Terra
Address: Vlycha beach, Lindos, 85107
Best for: Beach life
When you’d prefer to stay at Vlicha Beach than in Rhodes Town, secure your sun lounger at Lindos Aqua Terra.
This beachfront property offers boutique style accommodation, a garden dotted with olive trees, Aegean views, and some suites with private pools.
You’ll find all you need on site here, including an outdoor pool, a bar and restaurant, the local beach, and a location just two miles from Lindos Town.
I think the smart, Scandi and rustic style decor is also a welcome breath of fresh air.
7. Casita Casita Lindos
Address: Unnamed Road, Lindos, 85107
Best for: Adults only stay
If you’re visiting Rhodes without children, then the last thing you might want is someone else’s ruffling your feathers.
Enter Casita Casita Lindos, an adults-only property close to Lindos Acropolis and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach.
The liberal use of natural wood and rattan plus subtle shades creates a calm, inviting backdrop for a child-free break.
All accommodation is in suites, and some have sea views, are split-level, or have a private patio area. The seven suites also share a bar and an outdoor pool.
8. In Camera Art Boutique Hotel
Address: Sofokleous 35, Rhodes Town, 85100
Best for: Local colour
Within the mediaeval centre of Rhodes old town and less than a mile from several beaches is In Camera Art Boutique Hotel.
This colourful, character-packed property is also close to local cafes and restaurants, and offers room service and a bar on site.
Original features like beamed ceilings, stonework, and arches are brought to life by splashes of cobalt blue and scarlet, plus patterned tiles and textured fabrics.
There’s also a jetted hot tub for guests’ use. At Il Camera Art Boutique Hotel, the service, breakfast, and location are exceptional.
9. Spirit of the Knights Boutique Hotel
Address: 14 Alexandridou Street, Old Town, Rhodes Town, 85100
Best for: A Greek feel
Spirit of the Knights Boutique Hotel is like an urban oasis in the heart of old Rhodes.
The leafy outdoor area is a real highlight, as is the location close to the Clock Tower and other historic sights, plus local eateries and bars.
Elli Beach is about two thirds of a mile away, too.
Expect airy public areas with vast stone arches, huge windows, and soaring, beamed ceilings.
Rooms, meanwhile, are furnished and decorated in an authentic Greek style, and all feature comfortable, oversized beds you can sink into.
10. Elite Suites by Rhodes Bay
Address: Ixia, 85101
Best for: A sumptuous spa
Overlooking the sapphire waters of the Bay of Ixia and the Aegean, Elite Suites by Rhodes Bay offers all you need for a sumptuous stay.
There’s private beach access via pretty gardens and a tunnel beneath the road, plus several freshwater pools, including one on the rooftop boasting sweeping views.
Other impressive facilities include a spa, a light-filled restaurant, a gym, and pool and rooftop bars.
If you’re seeking all the amenities plus slick, modern style and sleek lines, Elite Suites by Rhodes Bay could tick all your boxes.
11. Caesars Gardens Hotel & Spa
Address: Krana, Lindos, 85107
Best for: A peaceful position
For those craving an adults-only stay, an alternative to Casita Casita Lindos is Caesars Gardens Hotel and Spa.
This one offers an Aegean vibe, Mediterranean cuisine, and the outdoor Magnolia Spa.
Lindos and several beaches are under a mile away – so within walking distance – and I adore the tranquil, scenic location.
Decor is contemporary, with a rustic edge and boho touches adding interest.
There’s a lovely outdoor pool, an al fresco spa, and Tárate Restaurant, which serves Mediterranean fare made from ingredients sourced both on-site and from local suppliers.
12. Boutique 5 Hotel & Spa
Address: Kiotari, 85109
Best for: Sea views
If ocean views are what your holiday dreams are made of, head to Boutique 5 Hotel and Spa.
It’s right by picturesque Kiotari beach, and the views from throughout the property are spectacular.
As well as a gym, a spa and wellness centre, indoor and outdoor pools, and a bar and restaurant, this property enjoys private beach access.
Decor is contemporary with a glamorous streak, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.
