The picturesque village of Broadway in the Cotswolds is a synonym for tranquillity and idyllic charm, with various hotels offering modern amenities to complement the exquisite traditional allure.
However, one of the main reasons many people choose to visit the region is the collection of award-winning restaurants in Broadway offering a spectrum of fine dining experiences.
In this brief guide, I’ll share my favourite restaurants in Broadway that I think you’re going to love. Let’s dive right in!

1. MO at Dormy House
Address: Willersey Hill, Broadway WR12 7LF
Best for: Michelin approval
MO at Dormy House is a Michelin-recommended restaurant providing an unforgettable fine dining experience, despite its relatively limited space.
Just 12 seats around a U-shaped kitchen counter puts you right in the heart of the action. Two talented chefs treat the guests to an 8-course tasting menu prepared right before their eyes.
The chefs present each course themselves while offering insightful explanations to engage with diners throughout the evening.
The restaurant also offers a sommelier who expertly pairs the dishes with a carefully picked wine variety.
2. Buckland Manor Restaurant
Address: Broadway WR12 7LY
Best for: Locally sourced ingredients
Despite offering a serene retreat, Buckland Manor is often praised for its truly wonderful restaurant staff.
With the help of his talented team, Head Chef Mark Potts crafts delectable menus that are quintessentially English and take a lot of inspiration from the surrounding region.
In fact, most of the seasonal ingredients used in dishes are sourced directly from a nearby town of “Vale of Evesham” in addition to fresh herbs grown at the manor.

3. Russell’s of Broadway
Address: High St, Broadway WR12 7DT
Best for: Modern British menus
This award-winning establishment is a Broadway staple, and I can see why.
Russell’s Head Chef, Jorge Santos, offers a seasonally changing menu featuring high-quality British fare with a focus on fresh, local produce sourced from nearby markets.
Besides the delicious food, one of the most iconic aspects of the restaurant is its unique setting.
It used to be a showroom of one of the most influential furniture designers of the 20th century, Sir Gordon Russell.
This is also a restaurant with rooms – book a stay here.
4. Hook at The Fish
Address: Farncombe House, Campden Ln, Farncombe, Broadway WR12 7LH
Best for: Fish and seafood
Hook throws a luxurious twist on seafood, boasting a unique and upscale experience that is unlike anything else you would experience in nearby restaurants.
The restaurant is headed by its culinary director, Martin Burge, who pays incredible attention to the tiniest of details, from the dishes to the decor, and even the service level.
The staff there are characteristically down-to-earth and helpful, which creates a remarkably welcoming vibe that complements the stunning views.

5. Number 32
Address: 32 High St, Broadway WR12 7DT
Best for: Laid-back daytime eatery
If you’re looking for a simple restaurant with an intimate setting that focuses on creating delicious menus without fuss, Number 32 will have you covered!
This is the kind of place you would want to be if you prefer simplicity without sacrificing the quality of food or service.
The pricing is another major plus, as it’s significantly more affordable to dine here than the more exclusive restaurants, with plenty of menu options to enjoy throughout the day.
Note that it’s only open during the day from 08:30 – 16:00.
6. Tattersall’s Brasserie
Address: The Green, Cotswold Way, Broadway WR12 7AA
Best for: A relaxed brasserie
For a lively and contemporary atmosphere, look no further than Tattersall’s Brasserie at The Broadway Hotel.
The restaurant’s menu features a delightful mix of European-inspired dishes, while still focusing on fresh and seasonal ingredients.
The delectable selection of dishes includes a variety of pastas as well as steaks and seafood in addition to vegetarian and gluten-free varieties.
